Do anyone of you remember this beautiful rendition as a duel between Manna Dey and Guruji in Basant Bahar (1956) ? I think it was a coup of sorts, bringing two of them together for playback singing together, by Shankar – Jai Kishen. I don’t think an event of this nature ever appeared again.
